The 20th International Crop Science Conference & Exhibition (ICSCE 2024) was held on September 2-3, 2024, at the Andaz Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi. It was attended by over 1,000 delegates and 82 leading companies to discuss advancements in crop protection and sustainable agriculture. We connected with industry leaders, buyers, and policymakers, sharing insights on the future of agrochemicals and its role in securing global food production.
Industry experts shared critical perspectives on the evolving needs of agriculture. PMFAI President Pradip Dave highlighted India’s contribution to global food security, stating, “India plays a crucial role in feeding the world, and the future of agriculture depends on our ability to innovate and produce effective crop protection solutions.” Addressing the need for continued investment in research and development, Dr. J.P. Singh, Plant Protection Adviser to the Government of India, remarked, “Farmers today face unprecedented challenges. Scientific advancements in agrochemicals will be key in improving productivity while ensuring sustainability.” These discussions emphasized the urgency of supporting agricultural innovation to meet
growing global food demands.
